First I'm sincerely sorry for you and your family's loss. I had a cousin I was very close with who was killed by a drunk driver. As devastating as is was/is time does heal most of the wound. I think about him everyday..I talk with him...I believe he's with me always. I don't mean any of this is a religious way. It's just something I want to believe. I hope you can get through this with the help of your friends/family. If not please feel free to contact me. I assure you I'm non judgmental. If not no problem.
Please take care of yourself.
Christine

I'm sorry for your tragedy and you will be in my prayers. If it were me, I would try to give some condolence to your aunt and uncle. They are hurting just as much. Try to talk with a religious service person, a rabbi, or minister to help you get through it. It might help to flip through some old photos of your cousin and you. Try to spend as less time grieving and more time celebrating the person's life! Good Luck and G-D Bless!

If you believe in God, say this in prayer
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change,
courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference."
If you were really close, be strong, but feel however you want to. It is your right to cry, to be angry, to feel stolen from. Talk to your family. Be close with family. Connecting with family and remembering your cousin the way he was is a great way to feel what you need to feel rather than isolating yourself and possibly shutting yourself off. I'll keep you in my prayers. May he rest in peace.
