While I'm sure Superman would be feeling some pain dealt by the Hulk, he would ultimately defeat the beast. Superman is ultimately as strong as the Hulk, and much much faster. He can move like a blur and the Hulk wouldn't be able to escape. The downside of this battle would be that if the fight moved into a populated area....Superman would have to attack the Hulk and defend the citizens at the same time. The Hulk wouldn't care. In the end, I'm thinking that Superman would be forced to throw or fly the Hulk into deep space and just fling him towards the sun. How long could the Hulk survive in space? I'm sure he could for a good long time....but he wouldn't be able to do anything.
As for another Superhero/Villan that could beat Superman.....there are many. If you're talking about a "get in the ring" and fight.....the list narrows. Characters such as Doctor Strange and Reed Richards or other brains would defeat superman from behind the scenes. Superman is vulnerable to magical attacks...leaving him open to some hero's such as the Black Knight. The fight to end Superman would have to be Thor. Thor's Hammer is magical....thus doing full damage. Thor's lightning...again magical....thus doing full damage. Thor's strength is equal to Supermans. Thor's speed isn't near Superman's, but the deciding factor in this battle would again come down to brains. Thor could transport himself and Superman to a system with a Red Sun...or no sun...leaving Superman powerless.

Superman would win 100% and here's why: Anyone that says otherwise doesn't really know what they're talking about. I'm a major comic book fan with serious knowledge of the subject, so here's the deal. Both Superman and Hulk are depicted as being about equally strong in modern comic continuity. And both Hulk and Superman are depicted as being extremely durable. So those things cancel out. What's left? Nothing for Hulk. Meanwhile, Superman can move and fly at super speed. He has a bunch of other powers too but he wouldn't even need them. So here's how the fight would play out: Neither character would really be able to hurt each other seriously with punches. So Superman would simply move at super-speed to grab Hulk and either fly him or throw him into outer space in a about a half-second. Since Hulk can't fly, he'd be helpless and defeated. He could hold his breath in space for a few hours, but eventually he would die. The end. Or, Superman could just punch Hulk in the face about 1,000 times within about 5 seconds at super-speed. That'd probably knock Hulk out for a while. If you're talking about the classic Superman ("pre-crisis" Superman, from before the 1986 revamp), he was depicted as being absolutely 100% invincible to the point where he could just stand with a smile on his face while an atomic bomb explodes on him. He was shown as being so strong that he could push planets out of orbit in space. And he was so fast that he could move and fly much faster than the speed of light. So the classic Superman would be able to beat Hulk in 10 different ways, each way taking about 1 millionth of a second. In summation, Hulk looks like he's stronger and tougher because he's taller, more bulky, and his strength gets more hype. But Superman is just as strong (or a million times stronger in the classic version) and has other major powers. So people that think Hulk would win don't have a clue of what they're talking about.

superman, because he's invincible so the hulk can't hurt him, he never gets tired and he has all those other powers. the hulk is just strong, so he doesn't compare to super man.i really cant think of anyone who can beat supper man, you would have to combine some of the super heros and villains together to beat superman and they would have to be towing like a truck full of kryptonite.

If the Hulk is not hiding Kryptonite, I would say Superman will win.
