Your music isnt on the cpu! Its on the hard drive! Take it to someone who knows what to do before you lose it all!

My friend I'm afraid you've got yourself into a world of hurt! My only suggestion would be to try to boot the system in safe mode, and attempt to do a system restore. A system restore is not a complete install of the operating system it just takes your computer back to its last known good configuration. To boot into safe mode turn your computer completely off. Now restart, while continually holding down F8. You should come to a DOS screen which is black with white letters, use the up and down arrows to select safe mode, or if it's available last known good configuration, press the enter key. If your system does start in safe mode I'd suggest you copy as many files on the CD as fast as you can. If your system does have returned to last known good configuration, the system should restart automatically. Good luck!
