Seriously, people? You DO realize that the 'terrible, terrible' muslims you see on the news are just the radicalists that every religion has.. right? In fact, the majority of 'nice' posts on these boards seem to be from Muslims.

I had to ask after seeing a poster saying he wanted to kill all muslims. =/

I agree with you; all religions have their fanatical elements. I am a Christian, and I know that Christian history has had its fanatical and violent times. Like the pogroms, the inquisitions, and the killing off of Indian tribes. Now I have lots of faith that Jesus Christ is the Savior and I am as much a true Christian as anybody can proclaim, but I know that Christian history is not perfect. You can't blame it all on the Catholics, because Protestants too have had their violent fanatical moments. Satan picks on the hearts of everybody. People really need to learn more deeply of history before they go branding Muslims as just violent, belonging to a violent religion.

I don't think all of the muslims are. Unfortunately it's the age old story.......one bad apple spoils the whole barrel. What the radical muslims are doing is creating a hatred and mistrust of their own religion. The reason they hate the Jews is they have forgotten their history and the fact that they are all related. Go back to the story of Joshua leading the Israelites across to the promised land
after Moses died and couldn't finish going to the promised land.
God clearly gave the land to the Hebrews, then chastised them for failing to recognize "The Lamb of God" God scattered them to the 4 corners of the world and did not let them return until the 1948 exodus. 2 1/2 of the 12 tribes did not cross to the promised land at that time. Thein lies the arab/muslim nation. They eventually migrated. built their mosque on the foundation of the Jewish temple. Jewish religion prohibits desecration of the mosque of omar. Most do not believe that the destruction will come from the "Lamb of God" That is where Christianity plays a part in the big picture, we believe that all of the people that DO NOT BELIEVE, will eventually see what is happening. Including the radical muslims.

Thanks Kyle!! It's nice to see that at least someone here agrees with me!! Yes i am a Muslim and i never understood why people don't understand that just because there are those one or two radicalists or extremists in (any religion), why they go and bash the entire religion....Yes i do agree that there are extremists in Islam but that does not give people the right to discriminate against every single Muslim person....i wear a hijab which is a head covering for my religion, and this physical aspect picks me out of a crowd as someone who is different and when people see me, they know i'm a muslim.....and therefore, i'm usually more of a target for their negativity....i have been through soo much that it's sad and now i've just gotten used to it....i've had people tell me to "go back to my country" which is kind of ironic and makes no sense since i was born and raised in the US....and its annoying how people assume before knowing......

and by the way to the person (whittey_b) or whoever, ISLAM IS NOT FULL OF HATE, YOU ARE!!

P.S. where did u see a poster saying "he" (who;s he) wanted to kill all muslims? can u email me it if u saw it in a website? thanks? or u can just email me to write whatever....i will gladly reply...thanks!!

:) peace

Honestly, I dont know about the other muslims on yahoo! answers, but I for one went to islamic lessons in england, and i can say from the bottom of my heart that I was never taught to hate whites or kill christians or anything like that, on the contrary islam has taught me to overlook what injustices were done to me and let allah deal with it, because the accused will get their comuppence...

its made me a person with strong morals and love for fellow human beings, Im charitble, forgiving, loving...surely a religion that taught me all this isnt as bad as what the media portray it to be...

And now that Everyone knows that Im a muslim I am sure I will get abused for the rest of my time here at Yahoo! answers....

There are jackasses in every religion.I know some Muslims that are nice, cool people. If someone does not have the ability to look past the jackasses that claim to be a part of a religion, then is there a possibility that person is a jackass too?

When people watch the news, after seeing violence in I raq, they don't think and just come to conclusion that all muslims are like that. Islam is a peceful religion, and the bombers like Osama Bin Laden is using Islam as an excuse for their violence actions. I f you go to a mousque, you will find everyone is peaceful, and mostly everybody opposes terrorrists
