If you can catch the dog in the act it would be great. Take a picture for proof that their pet is doing it Tell your neighbor that it would be nice if they could keep their dog in their own yard as you don't like stepping in it when you are in the yard. If they say it isn't their dog you have the proof and if they get smart notify an agency or the police .Check to see if there is an ordinance on leash laws or pooper scooper laws in your area. You really don't want to cause any friction with your neighbor because it can come back and kick in the butt if you do something.Good luck and be nice.Remember it's not the pups fault

Ok,
Here is what you do.
1. Get neighbors at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m.
2. Show them the dog crap
3. Tell them to pick it up and if the dog does this again you will throw it at them or make the owner eat it.
4. Be consistant. If dog craps again on yard do above.

Kindly ask your neighbor to keep the dog out of your yard. If that doesn't work call animal control.

Scoop up the poop in a bag and return it to the dogs owners, making sure to take back your bag...lol If that doesnt get the point across have them charged... there is a fine for not scooping dog poop.

Thats no good. I guess I'd talk to said neighbor and point out the poop. If that didnt' do the job perhaps you could put a piece in their mailbox. That would send a message.

get a shovel and flick it back to their yard, or volunteer to walk dogs at your humane society, and walk them around your neighbors yard or put up a fence

chase the pooch away... In any case you can notify your neighbor that the dog is doing that, and if he'd be so kind to come over with a pooper-scooper.. and kindly to keep his dog tied up. Be nice after all they are neighbors.. good luck!!

If they are not picking it up after wards then I would video tape it and show it to the police. There is a fine where I am of $50 for not scooping the poop.
