God i have been out of the dating game for too long!!!!! I dont want to look boring. Confidence leaves you after long relationships are over! Anyone advise?

I know exactly what you are talking about. Women are the same way. I'm older than most here, so my answer would be from experience.
It depends where you're going and what you are comfortable in. If you're going to a real nice restaurant a nice pair of slacks with a shirt, tie and jacket is nice. If you're going to the show and maybe a bit to eat afterwards or dancing slacks, no matter what color they are and a nice sports shirt is nice. Please don't mix plaids and checks!!!
As to how far you should go it depends on the woman. She should be the one to let you know, but don't push your luck by trying to be macho. If you had a daughter how would you like the gentleman to treat her???Good luck and have fun.

I am assuming you love the water, might possibly be a water sign, and you are going to suggest that the two of you go indoor swimming together before lunch where you can have a good bit of exercise, a wee bit of chat and then a lovely luncheon together to make the day memorable. I hope she responds to you by suggesting a two-hour drive in the countryside, afterward.

Anything you feel comfortable in. As for the rest you just have to go with the flow however women are more forward now than they were in the 70's and 80's so really anything is possible it is all up to both of you.

If you're a male I would say no to white trousers and if you're a female I would say no if you're not skinny.
It is only my opinion but I don't think they look very nice on larger ladies sorry.
And if it feels right then just go for it you only have one life don't waste it

It doesn't matter how you dress. Dressing casually is fine. Don't even think about sex on the 2nd date. You are still getting to know her. Talk with her and make her feel comfortable. If your date goes well, she might let you kiss her.
