i beleive that i have 11 mental disabilities at the last count. (adhd, add, assburgres, dyslexia, disgraphia, rms, hatd to name a few) i am a sophmore at a 3A school, and its hard to live with all the stupid @#*% people mocking me. not just the students, either. the teachers and principals also make incredibly snide comments. sometimes i want it all to end. i eather want to beat the bullies to a bloody pulp, and my dad supports me on this. but my mother wants me to keep patient and not to loose my temper, which i ha ve done so far. in sixth grade, some kids started to hit me, and i lost my temper. the three kids gained conceousness in a hospital a few hours later, and didn't recall what happend untill a week afther they were released. im not a voilent person, and i dont want this to happen again. any advice? some teachers dont like me, and they mock me in front of calss. my parents talked to them, and they didn't even lay off a bit. am i just that fun to make fun of?

Where in the world did you get the "I believe I have 11 mental disabilities at last count" statement and terms from anyway -- it is UNUSUAL for someone to pick these up and just toss them into a question -- and NOT know they have the condition by the time they can write and communicate -- and this is done through MEDICAL Testing and Diagnosis/Treatment.

This is a lead in to what I am going to say that may sound a little harsh -- because there is no where in your question where there is any information on whether or not you have EVER been evaluated for ANY of these conditions. SO ..

I'll just bet that you wrote the words down to try to gain an excuse for your choices in life - and have NO IDEA of what each of these conditions are (and I DO know what they are and how they affect children throughout their educational settings -- for I RAISED Disabled Children to Adulthood by MYSELF as a Long Term Single Parent).

First of all - why haven't your parents taken you to a Medical Specialist (A Psychiatrist/Psychologist) for your initial evaluations -- and that way, instead of trying to "GUESS" What you have -- you would NOW KNOW there is a problem -- and the treatment can proceed.

(I have read what you wrote -- Asperger's Syndrome is ruled out -- because your communication is far better than any Asperger's Syndrome individual (including my own child) has ever achieved -- their problems with communication (especially written communication -- and the problems with spelling -- are quite the key in Asperger's Syndrome)

I did raise an "ASPERGER's SYNDROME Child" (That is a form of High Functioning Autism, and yes, these individuals are also with HIGH IQs as well) -- and it is genetically linked ... so a complete neurological evaluation is required for this diagnosis.

ADHD and ADD -- a lot of the same symptoms -- but in ADHD -- there is the Hyperactivity Component (and yes, another of my children had Severe ADHD). You either are ADHD or ADD -- not both!

Dyslexia can be diagnosed through an optometric examination -- and that is what is needed there. Have you ever had an Examination done of your ability to see and/or read?

Dysgrafia -- that is a fine motor skills impairment -- and it is determined through an evaluation of your abilities to hold (for example) writing instruments and make clear markings (or letters or numbers, whatever). an Occupational Therapist would do this testing to determine if this is one of the conditions you have. Again, with the use of the letters and punctuation marks (and symbols) in this posting -- I would have to say that it is doubtful that you will be diagnosed with this condition either -- because you have already stretched quite far in using the entire keyboard -- so fine motor impairment is not showing up right now via your postings.

SO STOP right now -- LOOK at your behaviors and the way you react -- and start to make POSITIVE changes in your life. The teachers are most likely reacting to your ACTING OUT -- the violence, the thoughts of violence, and you are most likely acting out in the class too (or being some kind of disturbance). This is NOT NECESSARILY a sign of some mental illness or challenges -- just a sign that the individual NEVER LEARNED how to behave properly in a classroom or public setting -- and I can assure you that BOTH the Asperger's Syndrome Child and the ADHD Child KNEW better than to act out in front of their instructors.

MY final comment is this -- when you STOP Reacting to the others making fun of you and your behaviors -- then they will HAVE NO REASON to continue to make comments to irritate you. THAT is what is needed here. STOP your behaviors -- and if it means writing down reminders on your notebook or a bookmark -- do so.

I'm really sorry to hear that people treat you like that. My sister has a few problems herself and people have been just as mean unfortunatly. I was shocked when I was in college and there was an older guy in the class who obviously had some kind of problem and the teacher was so mean to him! I think that it just plain old ignorance. It is hard to stay stong but you just have to stick up for yourself. If you feel you're being made fun of, tell them to knock it off, say it's not funny and ask them how they would feel if they had to live with these issues. If you say something honest and direct to them like that, they will most likely be shocked and shut up. I know it's hard to speak up but you will feel better if you do, don't let yourself be their target.
Hope that helped! Best of luck to ya! :)

Sounds like you are having a rough time and need to change schools.

You can tell that horrible principal about the teachers and students bullying you and if they don't do anything...contact your states board of education and make a formal complaint with the help of your mum and dad.

i know it sounds stupid, but violence does not solve anything (I 2 get really angry about things the way you are describing).

The only thing violence is good for is a grevious bodily harm black mark against your name when one of those you beat up takes matters to the police.

Your mother is right though...try to keep a cool level head.

And remember, I'm not mocking or trying to hurt you...there are poeple out there who generally do care!

Good luck champ!

For you to have what you say . You are very accomplished in your writing skills and spelling. I have worked with dyslexic children. Your skills are far superior to any I have taught.
If you are mocked by teachers ,call an attorney after he is through with the school ,you may own a large piece of it.

It seems that your parents are very concerned and believe in you. This would be a very good time to consider home-schooling and to hell with public school if that is the root of your problems.

You have adhd for one thing that can link to a whole world of things like, antisocial personality disorder, tourett, dyslexia, it's a lot. I personally experience ADHD, Tourett, and Dyslexia. you sound like someone with tourett (often called Touretts syndrome.) I would go to a website, search it up online. Yes I too have beat someone up so bad that he had three broken ribs, this is very serious. Please please please go to the doctor.
