Why don't you call?

Why would you eat Thanksgiving at your friend's house? Thanksgiving is to spend time with your family. Maybe your mom is just ticked that you'd rather spend a holiday with your friend than with your own mother. Also, if you call your mom from your friend's house, asking to stay, it puts her on the spot, and if you have a reputation for throwing hissy fits when she tells you no, then she was probably just avoiding a screaming match.

Ouch!!! Probably one day, when you are much older, you will understand how important is for a Mother to have her child with her during a family celebration, like Thanksgiving. There will be times in the future (if you move away, or get married, or have to alternate houses with in-laws) when you will not be able to do so, but maybe this is not the right time.

What does your heart tell you?? MMM, I think you know the answer. (don't forget tobring something nice, like flowers for your Mom when you get home).;)

Have a nice holiday!!!

Compromise !Why not share the day with both your boyfriend and your mother. See if your boyfriend will hold Thanksgiving dinner with his family at noon and have the evening meal with your boyfriend and your family. You and your mother do realize that it is Thanksgiving Day.How fortunate you are that you are all alive and well to celebrate the day together.Take the first step to make up with your mother. There are no winners when family members fight. Thankgiving is a day to count our many blessings.

your mom really had no right to do that! i mean i can understand where she is coming from when she wants to eat thanksgiving dinner with u, but she really shouldn't have done that! do u have someone to stay with, your dad, grandma, maybe even your boyfriend! go somewher u feel safe and stay with them until your mom calms down. im sure it will all work out but just stay with your boyfriend or a relitive for awhile!! good luck <3

Make up with your mother. Then learn how to eat at home then go visit and nibble on left overs at the boy friends house.

go back home. Patch things up and eat some turkey. She just feels bad that you chose your b/f family over your own.

I'd suggest calling her back and seeing what was wrong with her because it sounds like something was bothering her.
