When Christ returns He will reign on Earth for 1000 years, during which time those within The New Jerusalem will be with Christ and reign with him. All inside will have spiritual bodies and participate in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Outside will be all unbelievers who've disobeyed God and rejected Jesus Christ, they will be survivors from the battle at Armageddon and those left alive in the world. Also during this time Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit. This means no death or disease, just peace and prosperity. Once Satan is released, he and all those outside will once again rebel against God and attack the New Jerusalem. Fire from Heaven, which will destroy the old heaven and earth so a new Heaven and Earth can replace it, will destroy them all - physically. Then comes the Great White Throne of Judgement. That's about as brief as I can possibly get. Read the Scripture given below as a reference and you'll see for yourself. It's very plain, easy to understand and straight forward.

The first specific sign Jesus gave in the Olivet discourse that will clearly indicate that the End of the Age has come is the Abomination of Desolation (Matt. 24:15-21). But that’s really a “non-sign” because in several other places the Bible says when that happens there’ll only be about 3 1/2 years left until the 2nd Coming. It wouldn’t make sense for the Lord to say that the generation being born at that time will live to see all the End Times signs fulfilled. They’ll still be toddlers when the Kingdom Age begins. So we have to look behind His words. It takes a Temple for an Abomination, but according to Daniel 9:27 the Temple would only have to be 7 years old when the end comes, still too short a period of time. But for a Temple to exist, Israel has to exist. Without an actual State of Israel inhabiting the land that was promised to them, none of the other signs can happen. There couldn’t be a covenant people or a Temple or an Abomination of Desolation. In addition to Daniel’s prophecy of a temple, Isaiah, Amos, Ezekiel, Zechariah and others all prophesied a re-gathered State of Israel in the last days as well. The re-birth of Israel is the pre-emminent signal that the End of the Age has come. That occurred on May 14, 1948. So when Jesus referred to "this generation" He was referring to the generation being born around May of 1948 and not His 1st century contemporaries. Both Psalm 90:10 and Isaiah 23:15 declare a generation to be 70 years in length. (Psalm 90:10 stretches the time to 80 years for those who are particularly strong.) That means all prophecies regarding the Lord's second coming must be fulfilled within the lifetimes of those being born around 1948. All prophecies regarding the Lord's first coming were also fulfilled within the span of one generation. They began with the birth of John the Baptist around 4BC and ended with the destruction of Jerusalem in 68-70AD. So the Millennium has yet to begin. But we are now very, very close. But there are some 500 prophecies that still must be fulfilled in the next seven years or so. Next up will likely be the rapture, followed by Israel's victory over her closest enemies (Isaiah 17 and 34, Psalm 83, Obadiah 15-18) followed by another victory (Ezekiel 38-39) followed by the introduction of the man of peace who will eventually be revealed as the anti-christ (Daniel 9:24-27).

After the thousand year reign when Christ comes back, the wicked will be resurrected at what Christ calls in John 5:29 "the resurrection of damnation" and Judged. This is why it says in Philippians 2:10-11 "that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, things on the earth and under the earth." Referring to all heavenly beings, all beings that are alive and saved, and all beings that were dead (under the earth = buried) and condemned.
By their own choice the wicked are consumed and destroyed forever, along with Satan and his angels in a consuming fire originally planned only for Satan and his angels. Ezekiel 28:16,18-19 tells us that Satan will be destroyed forever. Everlasting fire in the bible means the destructive result of the fires are everlasting. Hence once the fire consumes and destroys Satan and the wicked they are gone forever. See Jude 6-7 which clarifies this.
So once the thousand years is up Christ returns to Earth from heaven with the redeemed who took part in the resurrection to life, in order to resurrect and judge the wicked. Once the wicked are destroyed, God creates a new heaven and a new earth for the redeemed to live in. This can all be found in Rev. 20 and 21. Nahum 1:9 tells us that sin will never again be a problem after this.
I hope this helps you out.

2nd Coming of Jesus Christ...then
Millennium :
Beginning of the Millennium = Resurrection of the Just (Satan bound)
End of the Millennium = Resurrection of the Unjust (devil will be loosed for a short season to gather his armies)
Battle of Gog and Magog - aka "Battle of the Great God"
(Satan and his followers defeated and cast out )
then Final Judgment (assignments to kingdoms of glory to those that are able to abide a kingdom of glory)
Doctrine and Covenants 88:110 And so on, until the seventh angel shall sound his trump; and he shall stand forth upon the land and upon the sea, and swear in the name of him who sitteth upon the throne, that there shall be time no longer; and Satan shall be bound, that old serpent, who is called the devil, and shall not be loosed for the space of a thousand years.
111 And then he shall be loosed for a little season, that he may gather together his armies.
112 And Michael, the seventh angel, even the archangel, shall gather together his armies, even the hosts of heaven.
113 And the devil shall gather together his armies; even the hosts of hell, and shall come up to battle against Michael and his armies.
114 And then cometh the battle of the great God; and the devil and his armies shall be cast away into their own place, that they shall not have power over the saints any more at all.
115 For Michael shall fight their battles, and shall overcome him who seeketh the throne of him who sitteth upon the throne, even the Lamb.

First of all, when Christ comes the second time, He will not reign or event touch this earth, but will take the saints back to heaven with Him to meet the Father/God. Any one that claims to be Christ come again and is seen upon the ground is an Anti-Christ, and if they seem to be doing miracles then they are non other then satan himself.
