Hey i have a really important thing to get advice on...
so well i accidently flushed my cell phone down the toilet. like literally, down the toilet, it's in those pipes and everything. ITWAS A TOTAL ACCIDENT THOUGH, I SWEAR. it jumped out of my pocket, like. and now im so screwed and my parents will not BE PLEASED. (this was my second one in 6 month; the fist i actually lost lost.) how am i going to break this to my parents? any advice from kids and parents alike on how you'd deal with this? like if your a parent, and your kid did this, how would you react?plzplz, and thanx to all who have a legitimate answer that makes sense.

Just tell them the truth 'cause it's so much worse than to lie about it and get caught.

If my kid did this (for a second time) I wouldn't freak out...there's far and away more serious things for parents to freak out over. However, I would probably not purchase another phone but, instead, ask that my child pay for the next one by either working it off or getting a small job in order to purchase a new one.

Accidents happen. I think if my kid had to purchase the next phone him/herself, they might keep track of it a little better.

I think you need to live life without a cell phone for a while until you can assume the responsibilities of a user. Just tell them because they are going to figure it one way or another by the plumber or you.

As Hard as it might seem (or be) I believe you should tell the truth. If you were to make something up and get caught in it, the hardest thing to get back is trust. So just tell the truth, and be more carefull.

whatever you do dont lie. its all i can say. its way better than getting cauth lieing!!! But tell them the best sweetest way you can, try to tell them that you dont want another 1 untill you get enough allowence or something but dont ask for another 1.

i think that you should buy one yourself and tell them that you flushed it. yeah they will have a right to be upset because it sounds like that you arent taking care of your stuff and its sad really. i dont think that they should buy you a new one you should go without til you can buy one yourself and learn how to KEEP your stuff.
