My face and chest broke out bad and i am 18weeks prego with twins is proactive safe? Thanks

I tried to use it a couple of weeks ago. Its main ingredient is Benozyl(sp?) Peroxide. It's not supposed to be harmful during pregnancy, but call your doctor first. I never have bad skin, but when I'm pregnant I have raging acne. It was too harsh for me to use. I used it about 3 days and woke up with a terrible rash that had spread all over my face, neck, and hands. It just kept getting worse. Unfortunately, my skin is more sensitive now than before I was pregnant. I found though that Aveeno foaming face wash is great. That's what I've been using, now and it's cleared my face up for the most part. I still have the occasional pimple, but it's so much better. I got the whole set that they offer and use it all. The lotion that they have also has SPF so it'll help prevent "the mask of pregnancy". And it's made for sensitive skin. Good luck finding one that works for you. Definitely call your doctor about using Proactive first though. Welcome to the joys of pregnancy

it is safe to use... i also asked that question to my dr who told me to contact them and i did and it is safe to use. i also broke out a lot in pregnancy. good luck with the baby!! its almost 1/2 over!!
