anyways it was a long trip, 6 hour drive. but i was pulled over for swerving alittle. they asked me to get out the car and man have i never taken so many tests. cuz they wanted to see if i was drinking or on anything. asked me loads of questions like last time i smoked pot. or have i done xtc. and so forth (which i was on nothing). was pretty tired at the time. so i maybe did some of the test poorly from lack of sleep. but positive i passed the breath breathalyzer. but after so many test and questions they didnt tell me to come with them or gave me ticket or anything. but since i got pulled over is that recorded anywhere. so next time if i do get pulled over they will see i have? just wondering cuz it was the first time i ever got pulled over and have done those kinds of test.

You can ask the DMV or Highway Patrol or whatever agent tested you. Someone here will probably give you the exact answer. If you were not cited, you do not have to pay a fine or appear in court. It will not show as a conviction but rather a contact. The contact will be in a computer but I'm not sure it would create a file on you as that would see illegal. You can call the Auto Club (AAA) or drop in to a branch and ask the question. You will get the straight scoop there. By the way, one of the best investments I have ever made is getting a AAA membership, about 42 per years. Lots of per cent off tons of products and services, not to mention the towing, locked out of car, dead battery, gas, etc. etc. (No, I don't work for AAA). Seems to me the law dude did his job and was honest not to cite you. Not to worry. In future don't drive more than a couple of hours without stopping, getting out, drink something non-alcoholic and rest a bit. No repeat.

Where I live, the cops enter your license number into their on-board computer when they stop you to check for stolen cars, current registration, etc., so there is a record of your "stop", however, insurance agencies don't have access to this info...........
(I HOPE)

Some of the deadbeats around here take a razor blade and scrape the renewal sticker off someone's plate and stick it onto their OWN plate. The cops catch them when they do the computer check.

If the officer is required to call in, then there is a contact on his daily log. But other than that no record exists.

no that don't get turned in to no -one they just have a small record of it,but that's as far as it goes right there, but you don't have to worry they don't do anything with it,and after a year its deleted all together.so your in the clear,,good luck.
