You need to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated. Don't worry about himr not eating..he will eat eventually. You may want to try a High-Calorie Dietary Supplement like Nutri-Cal. This will hold him over till he gets better. With Parvo you really can't "heal" him it needs to run its course. With the Nutri-Cal and water he should get hungry and eat. Try giving him boiled chicken or hamburger mixed with white rice. This is a tough virus that will wear him out, but with plenty of attention and fluids he will get over it. Keep your head up. i'm suprised they permit you're taking her homestead; the vet i worked at we saved them in isolation on the hospital unlless the owner had extreme finiacial hassle then we allowed them to take them homestead (because of the fact the vet might then value much less). Frankly Parvo is extremely very costly to handle. it is likewise very deadly yet preventable in case you get doggy photographs accomplished. I additionally would not hassle a ton approximately eating a eating (nonetheless you prefer her to because it would be a good sign!) this is an extremely undesirable virus and regrettably has a extreme dying cost incredibly whilst no longer caught early. the main reason for dying is dehydration for this reason the IV fluids; in case you could, attempt to get your vet to sell you fluids and do the IV your self (this is many times plenty plenty extra value-effective). I wish you the final of success. I additionally prefer to show so which you could be very particular to envision up on cleansing till now yet another puppy is presented on your assets as parvo is extremely very enormously speadable. see you later tale short no i do no longer likely think of which you're being cheated out of your money. we would have canines stay on the hospital for 4-5 days and the vet invoice might particularly surely be 4 hundred money.

I've had two dogs with parvo. unfortunately one died before we were able to treat it. the other lived. we were told to give the dog Gatorade and chicken broth. and if it still keeps throwing up there is a pill that they give pregnant women for morning sickness the vet told us to crush it up in the food. good luck!
