You know what your kind of a jerk. I make a very decent living all by myself. One day after I'm married, I'm going to want to have kids, since I want to stay home with my babies I don't want someone who can't support me, I don't need a whole lot. So darn skippy I want someone who brings home the bacon. Doesn't have a thing to do with being a 'Gold-digger'. It does have to do with being a 'Strong, Healthy, FAMILY.' Any girl who dates a guy who doesn't have a JOB or a desire to have one really needs to re-evaluate that situation.

No, I don't like bacon that much. And if I want some, I'm perfectly capable of getting it at the grocery store myself.
That being said, it's quite difficult to find a man that doesn't feel some sense of innate superiority if he makes more money than his partner. As long as both people are putting in the same amount of effort, I believe they should be equals, but unfortunately, it rarely works out that way. There are some women that are primarily interested in a relationship for the money, just as some men are interested mostly for the sex. These relationships are sort of a reciprocal thing, trading one thing for another. But that's certainly not the way to true love, and I don't believe that most people or most relationships are this way. At least I hope not...
By the way, I realize that judging by your name, your blog was probably written in the same satirical sense that everything done by GWAR is. And if so, it's pretty funny.

Are you kidding? If a man isn't bringing the bacon home, why would any woman want to support him. That ain't golddiggin' that's just common since. He needs to have a job just like I do, that way he will have confidence and take care of his business.

Men can be "gold-diggers" just like women. My first husband was one. Now, into my second marriage, I like the fact that we both bring home the bacon. Besides, who wants to be married to someone who isn't supportive in all ways whether emotional, physical or financial. The more time you BOTH bring home the bacon, the more time (and more fun) you have to eat it together in the long run.

A 50:50 relationship is best. How boring to be a cleaning lady, cook & whoar for a bacon bringer. Better when both contribute to everything and are truly partners and both are being fulfilled as human beings, and both are doing the boring house stuff.

Whats up with this
If you tell him to bring home the money you are golddigging if you let him keep the money you're a fool.

I'm not a golddigger but I do like a man who helps to take care of me. I don't know about bacon, since I'm a Kosher eater, but I certaintly don't want to have to ask "where's the beef"
