i live in noblesville which is north of carmel/fishers as the other answerer stated on her whereabouts..noblesville is a fast growing town and is the heart of hamilton county...indy is in marion county and that's about 35 minutes away.....hubby was born and raised in indy,,all his relatives is there.the east and the north sides of indy are kinda rundown some..improvements are needed but downtown is really nice especially this time of year....

I used 5/3 and their service was aweful...I am with Chase now and would reccommend them to anyone. Your best bet is to visit a couple of banks and let them know what you are looking for to see what they have to offer. Try to find a bank that offers free checking, free checks, no fees, no minimum amount etc. Pay attention to their level of service while you are visiting them. If they don't take the time to answer your questions about their products/services they sure aren't going to take the time once you are a member. Also a lot of banks are offering rewards programs and may have something specific for college students.

I've lived in Indiana my whole life and I love it. I live in the Carmel/Fishers area, right outside of Indianapolis - the more upscale area - and it's a very nice place to live.

Indiana is a very nice place to be, if thats what you mean. I have been there plenty of times. I go to FT. Wayne but Indiana period is nice.

I'm not, but, one of my best friends lives there and I visit often. I really like Indy a lot.
