.....can he arrest you or deny you boarding just for yelling at him? Nothing was wrong with my luggage, but I wanted to yell at him for being a jerk. How much power does a TSA worker have?

They can deny you boarding on the basis of being threatening, and if you keep it up, they can get the airport police to arrest you.
Unfortunately, they have way too much power than they ought to have, and the best thing to do is just nod your head and smile.
Best not to yell at those people, anyways. I worked as an airport security screener, and it's a hard job. I have had to call airport security to escort someone off the premises, because she was yelling at me while I screened her. Not fun.
Hope this helps!

They have the police on there side. If you aren't doing anything wrong and you have an issue with a TSA worker try to get their name. Or in extreme cases ask for a supervisor or a lead.
There is also a customer service office for each airport. Find the number and complain if necessary. Remember what they are there for though. Be friendly, and hopefully they are too.

The TSA has way too much power and they are power hungry. They can deny your boarding a plane. They can also have you arrested if you keep what you are doing. The best thing to do is just obey what they tell you to do and things will go smoothly and quickly.

more power than you do and yes you'd probably get arrested, tsa workers have no work ethic nor do they have a sense of humor

Learn not to act on your impulses; it could get you in trouble next time.
