And is telling me that I am now eligible for a program called Mortgage Assistance program which specializes in providing low interest loans to debtors who need to consolidate their ch13 plan and mortgage into one loan at a lower payment. It sounds as if it were a scam but the envelope seems to be official. What do you think of that ? have you heard of this before. ? thanks for your feedback.

I THINK THIS IS A SCAM. ANY REPUTABLE LAWYER WILL SIGN HIS OR HER NAME. USE ONE OF THE LEGIT COMPANIES THAT ADVERTISE REGULARLY ON TV. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS OF THIS COMPANY, TAKE THE TERMS OF THEIR REFINANCING OFFER TO A LOCAL ATTORNEY OR CPA. NEVER SIGN ANY DOCUMENT THAT YOU DON'T FULLY UNDERSTAND. GOOD LUCK JOANN

It's a scam. The reason some of these scams are working is that they look or sound official. Do not trust anything that you did not sign up for.
