If the Koran is of God, and the Bible is of God, then why do they conflict on something as basic as 1) the Nature of Christ, and 2) the veracity of the Crucifixion and its purpose?
How can God contradict Himself?

Nice try, Ibn Adam, but there's those few niggling problems: Mary and John were NOT disbelievers. Yet they WATCHED Jesus die. And the Lord's People have ALWAYS been Isreal and ALL those who follow Him, not just the Good Thief and Jesus.

The original bible was not in english or Latin but in aramaic language. The Quran is still in its original language 1400 years.
We believe that the bible is from God but human made changes to it.
If you contact me by email I will send you a pdf file of Mr Ahmed Deedat book and you will see the proof of contradiction between versions of the bible and in the same bible as well.

The Bible doesn't even support the those views on Jesus (PBUH). Those views of Jesus, peace be upon him, are dogma
and people are just repeating what their preachers say. Like the bible calIs many prophets "the sons of God." I am currently researching this. The early Christians didn't believe this way, it got mixed with pagan beliefs. Many educated Christians who study the bible are lead to Islam because they find today's teaching about Jesus of Nazareth being the son of God and dying on the Cross is contradictory to what is actually in the bible. I am not Bible scholar and has just begun my study.
Every time I challenge my faith, it always increases my belief.
The Bible teaches the same message as the Quran, there is not contradiction between them. That's why I have no problem reading it, it strengthens my faith. In-fact you will find that many religions have received authentic messages from God which has been distorted. Like did you know that Hinduism was first Monotheistic, and the Zoroastrian religion was one of the very Monotheistic religion. The Quran refers to people of other religions who have been given revelation in the past prior to the Quran as "People of the Book." when you after the truth, like myself, you are not in fear of finding something that doesn't agree with your point of view. As a Muslim, I free to research what I want, infact that's a part of being Muslim, seeking knowledge.

You mean the "Qur'an"...
The difference is that the bible has been changed to fit man's want.
My proof:
More than one bible on earth today, although it was sent to Jesus as ONE book. Not to mention the old testament and the new testament, who do you think wrote those books?
The Qur'an has been the same since the day is was sent down on Muhammad (pbuh).
My proof:
One Qur'an, without the change of a single dot. not to mention that it can NEVER be literally translated to another language. Try taking a Qur'an from every country on earth, you'll see that there is no change in it, not even the position of a single dot.
Need more?
Peace.

Bible and Torah were from God but afterwards they have been corrupted.
( If (instead of this rebellion), the people of the Book had believed and adopted the way of God-fearing, We would have removed their evils from them, and admitted them into the gardens of bliss. Had they observed the Torah and the Gospel and the other Books which had been sent down to them by their Lord, abundance would have been given to them from above and from beneath .) holy Quran

But Quran is still as it is.

In truths, the Muslims can't answer your questions, or they will be contradicting their teaching.
If you want to know about Christ and the crucifixion ask the Christians, if you want to know about Muhammad ask the Muslims.

They do not conflic. Humans changed the bible. And even then in the Gospel Jesus Christ defines himself as human. The son of man. Also he Gospels describe as eye witnesses saw it. The Quran describes it as Allah intended it to look for regular people.
