They are diuretic beverages, which means that they help your kidneys eliminate toxins through urinating. This is good, not bad. Evidently if you drink too much, you will feel somewhat bloated.
To keep your kidneys (and evidently yourself) healthy you should consume aprox. 2 liters of water a day, this can include several cups of hot beverages such as tea and coffee. but no more than half should be infusions of teas, herbal or normal, or coffee...because of the caffeine they contain.
The rest should be good old plain WATER!... The healthiest drink in the world!

Well, its the caffeine, it is a diuretic making you pee more and it is also a stimulant so it's causing the tummy acids to churn as the digestive system is being stimulated so much. I would imagine you probably have frequent loose, watery or even diarrhea type stools. The thing to do is, cut out the caffeine. I personally drink nothing, and I mean NOTHING besides good ol' water. I also pee a lot. hehe.
Hope it helped.

You have developed an allergy to caffeine my friend. I did too and I can only drink decaffienated coffee and tea - and even then, it still bothers my stomach a little.

Good Luck!

The caffeine in them is a diuretic, which means it goes right through your system and makes you have to use the bathroom.

Don't drink them.

Caffeine and teas which have caffeine, even non-caffeinated teas such as sassafras, are diuretics, which cause you to urinate more.

think about what you're drinking
you're in essence just drinking flavored water. Your urges to go to the bathroom are just as if you were drinking water.

Perhaps you are allergic to the caffeine? I'm not sure, but it sounds like that might be it. I'm not sure if it is a sign of IBS, irritable bowl syndrome. - ask your doc!
