They just tell me to do community theater. I am only 12.... Many parents of celebrities move to California just for their child.... Why won't my family even... Do something like that????

I have several friend who work in TV, movies and theatre. My son (5 years old) is interested in performing arts. They have ALL given me the same advice, community theatre, singing lessons (choir), dance classes, public speaking. Never has even one of them suggested Hollywood or any other acting "area".

you need to start somewhere and community theater sounds like a great place for you to start....things just don't happen...and money doesn't grow on trees.......i used to give my son david
every little thing he wanted.....just to make a verrry long story
short, he never learned how to be responsible and take care of himself....there for he was always depressed when he got older and things jusst were not handed to him on a gold platter and i feel that your parents have your BEST INTEREST at heart!!!
i really do. please stop and really think about it.......your parents are not going to pick up and move just because you want to......
