It might depend on what part of the world you live in. In our area, it would be like pentacostals minus the tongues and holy rollin'.
They are Arminian in their theology, not calvinistic, they believe man has a free will. Kind of follow the Wesleys, in their approach to the Bible. I think originally they kind of followed a set of Methods to gain spiritual growth, Like: In order to be saved you need to: 1) ..... 2).....3).....

If you expect the truth from people on this sight --- good luck. Very few people will give you that. #1. People who do not like Methodists will lie. #2. Methodists who do not know there Faith will be mistaken. #3. pranksters will make up just about anything.

Methodists believe in Jesus as the son of God and savior of the world. Same as any other Christian.
