Here are a couple links to help you find the right card for you. Both links compare credit cards based on what you are looking for (bad credit acceptance, rewards, etc) and lets you compare the requirements (whether you have to be a member of the bank or have a deposit for a secured card), interest rates, and annual fees. Good luck.

If you have "not so good credit", you should not be concerned whether you should get a visa or mastercard. Instead, depending on your credit score, you should be looking for a credit card with a reasonable annual fee, one that does not charge a ridiculous amount in processing and application fee, and also a card with a reasonable apr (mid teens and not over 20%!).
Orchard Bank (owned by HSBC) has a series of subprime cards that has very reasonable fees. If your credit is really bad, then a secured credit card is probably the most cost effective way to get a credit card. Like before, make sure the annual fee is reasonable (not over $100), and there is no application or processing fee, a reasonable apr, periodic credit increases and that they report to the three major credit bureas.
