I'm speaking for the UK here, but amongst a huge variety of shapes and sizes of white pasta, I can only find wholewheat spaghetti or fusilli and the wholewheat is so much healthier for you! Anyone know why or where to find a better range?

Well, whether in the UK, Italy, US, or wherever this answer should suffice.

No one markets anything for long that does not sell. Local or ethnic markets usually are not sufficiently profitable to support a limited market so the manufacturer/vendor will only sell what he can make a reasonable profit on.

Probably because most people prefer white pasta to wholewheat. Even though wholewheat is healthier, people still seem to prefer white. So the pasta companies make more types of what the majority of the population likes.

Sainsburys does corn pasta
My local health food shop does hemp pasta and also spelt pasta.
Sainsburys does rice pasta with beetroot and spinach too. Look for it in the gluten free/special diets section.
Wheat gives me wind, i have to avoid it where i can. And the wholewheat variety gives me the worst wind.
