Make sure you take breaks; by law, you should get 2 15-20 minute breaks every 8 hours of work. So, get up, walk around, if possible, go outside and take some breaths of fresh air.

Drink water to keep hydrated. Eat healthy, not junk which will make you feel sleepy just as too many carbs will do too.

When you begin to feel like you are sleepy, move around and splash some cold water in your face, take deep breaths. During your lunch break, take a power nap for no more than 20 minutes.

The best way to keep good mental and physical health is to try and get your 30 minutes walk in each day and resolve any issues/problems you have within that day without the use of alcohol or other drug. I always find that some relationship(work or personal) problem sometimes causes me worry/resentment or fear especially if I haven't asserted myself in certain situations.So I review each day to see if I have been dishonest or self seeking and apologise if necessary. If I feel someone has wronged me then I try and face that person with what has offended/hurt my feelings.That way I don't harbour resentments.If you do all that and get an early night then you should be like Popeye on spinach.Good luck.

Many cups of coffee or look for other liquid products that have lots of caffeine in them.

Also, try drinking Gatorade or Powerade to replace the electrolytes that give you both physical and mental energy.

Drink at least 8 8 oz./ glasses of water a day; you will be surprised at how much it will help your concentration.

get some sleep then you can function. stimulants over the counter is really no better then drinking a few cups coffee
and eventually your body will be immune to the alertness factor
