My hubby is teaching me how to weld and he is starting me off on wire welding first. I love it!
I welded a bunch of stuff together, practicing on my tacking and the bead. He took what I welded and hung it from the porch.
He welded me a hanging lamp made out of round saw blades, It really looks good and everybody likes it but won't sit underneath it. hahaha
I'm making a piggy bank. It is just 4 sides and a top with a slit for $$ and a bottom. The only way to get it open is to torch it.
But I was thinkin' on putting some flower petals on it...ect. something like that.
C'mon now...... I know that there are a bunch of you out there that has allot of ideas to do. ~wink~

Make art, baby, make art! Remember that mouse in the museum story (old children's book)? He made sculptures with whatever wire and other things he found. Do some awesome stuff; you'll know what to do once you get started. It will kinda flow from you.

If I could weld I would build a frame for a 1000 gallon fish tank. I would probably use angle iron or aluminum)if i coud get it cheap) and I would get huge window panels from this home rehab center that sells stuff that got tore out of houses.

God for you! How about baskets that you can fill with bath accessories for a special gift for Christmas. You can spray paint them silver or gold and glue some beads on it to decorate it.
You can make Napkin Holders, Art for the garden. Coat Rack, Santa Sled to be used for his toys(decoration) A reindeer. Just have fun.
