While there are over-the-counter pain relievers that may be suitable for dogs, you wouldn't know what dose to give him without talking to a veterinarian. And giving him OTC pain relievers can have serious consequences.
But, that aside, if he is limping.. he needs to be examined immediately, especially if he was hit by a car.
Call a local vet or take him to the nearest emergency clinic.

Unfortunately the only option you have at this point is to get the poor guy to a vet, there isn't a way around that.
You can NOT give him anything meant for people without first talking to a vet, and the stuff they have on the market for dogs will probably not help a severe level of pain (not to mention if he has internal injuries you could be making matters worse if you give him anything.).
I hope everything turns out ok.

This is why they have emergency clinics.
Your dog may have broken bones or internal soft tissue injuries.
He will need to be seen by a vet.
Just giving him over the counter pain meds could make things worse by causing bleeding internally.
Get to a vet or emergency clinic.

He sounds like he is in pain. Give him a trip to the vet. He deserves the same treatment you would get if you had been hit by a car and in pain. Hospital for you vet for him.

WOW. You really need to call the vet. If you can not afford this. You need to make arrangements to place him with a Saint Bernard Rescue so they can help him.
