Are you serious? The original King James Version was absolutely riddled with translational errors, at least 3,500 of them! The Revised KJV is significantly better, but still retains some of the dumbest mistranslations found in any Bible version - such as translating the Hebrew phrase for "horned beasts" as "unicorns", instead of "cattle", as every other translation rightly renders the phrase. The Vulgate translation of St. Jerome is without question the single most accurate translation ever made in any language, and the english Douay was made directly from the Vulgate.

Without a doubt, the Douay-Rheims Version. King Jimmy's version didn't come for centuries later, and it was such an abridged version of the Bible that I can't see how it can truly be considered a Bible. A smattering of research will show you why the Douay-Rheims Version is so much more accurate and a better translation. I am now copying that version by hand onto looseleaf paper with a ballpoint pen for a very intense study of it, and the Revised Standard Version, an equally accurate and better translated Roman Catholic Bible. In an nutshell, It was written from a set of manuscripts that the Vatican didn't have control over, from which they translated the Latin Vulgate into the Douay.

The King James version has many errors in translation. Example is 1John 5:7,8. They have changed that though. Also, KJ appears to suggest that Hagar, the mother of Ishmael, carried on her back the teen age boy.
I have many versions of the Bible at home to check more or less each other. I admire Jerusalem Bible, and the New World Translation. Good ones.

Ooh the Vulgate of St. Gerome is my favorite.
It really is laughable that this "unchanged" work has over 300 different version and each and everyone of them have their own axe to grind.

Nothing at all. They are all a collection of stories written by man. Some are just edited differently.

None of the above translations are accurate. There are many mistakes and liberties that are taken to convey their line of thought, not Gods.
