You have to practice that and stretch your muscles. The best way to do that is to go as far down as you can and hold it for 30 seconds. Repeat this 3-5 times a day. Make sure that you practice doing it with both the right and the left leg in front.

When i did gymnastics, stretching a couple of times a day helped me. I would just practice bending straight over getting my palms to touch the floor, also stretching with my legs on the wall.

you cant just do a split in one day. it takes practice and flexiblity.
especialy if you take any dance or balle, then you should be good at it.
you need more flexibility and trainning to do a split. its not ment for a normal person to just try it.

All you can do is practice and do leg stretches to stretch out the legs. Eventually you'll be able to do it.

dont force it if you`re going to try, go slowly let the tendons stretch gradually, keeo the muscles warm, if you dont you will quickly find out the true meaning of "a pain in the butt"

you could do it if you kept stretching. if you stretch on a day to day basis you should be able to do it in a few months, It depends on how limber you are and how much you stretch.... but it is possible. just keep working at it!

become more flexible. do yoga for a while and keep trying. the more you try the more flex able you become. read tips on yoga routines on this site
