ok so i am a goth girl i have long straight black hair down to my wasit and very pale skin i wear ripped up black band shirts short black skirts or shorts and black fiishnets and i have had alot of guys tell me i would be beautiful and they would date me if i lightened my hair got a tan and dressed more "girly" so do guys only like grils for what they wear and how they dress?

If someone says that to you they are not the kind of guy you wanna date! Never let anyone tell you, you have to look or be a certain way to be accepted or liked or attractive. If your comfortable and confident in the way you are and look then go with it; who gives a rats A** what anyone else thinks. Only change to better yourself, not to make someone else feel better about being with you. A person who says they'd like you only if; is definitly not a person you need around you, a person like that most likely doesn't even like themselves and is always going to be the type to change for other people based on what they think someone else would want or like better.

Out of my two best friends one is a (straight) guy and one is a girl, Noah (the guy) always wears me and my other best friends bras, we always try to dress him up as a girl to go places where only girls can go but it never works becuase he looks really manly has short hair and talks in a real deep voice, its never a convincing disguise bu its always fun to dress up a guy friend as a girl!

The first thing you see in someone is the "packaging" and then you get to know them. There are a lot of guys into goth girls and some who aren't. Anyone who tells you that you would be beautiful if you changed this or that about yourself is into that type. Be your beautiful self, you sound lovely.

Jr. High or High School right? Yeah in that instance they will only want to hot preppy girls.
Wait till they, and you get older and then they will actually care about who you are and not just how you look.
If it is any consulation back when I was young and dumb still I would have liked you just the way that you described yourself.
I was always attracted to girls that were diffrent than the others, they had a mystery around them that was very seductive.

Valerie, you look freaky. Guys want girls to be feminine, and the goth stuff just don't get it done.
Lose the goth clothing and 10 lbs, and you'll have more guys than you can handle.

most majority of guys look at the way girls dress. the way you dress sends a message about who you are. its just like us women. we look at the way guys dress. if they dress trashy we don't really look at them twice but if we see a well dressed man walk through the door it makes us turn our heads and look twice.

alternative looks don't appeal to masses but to select groups. you should know better. if you're a goth, 90% of people attracted to you will be goths and there aren't that many of them out there.
