I'm somewhere between diest and agnostic, and I'm having trouble finding a nice girl my age that doesn't swear a lot, drink, smoke, or have serious psychological problems.

The pickins are slim for guys like me, as well! I'd love to date a christian though, if only she could appreciate me for who I am, as I would appreciate her.

Best advice is to seek out GOOD. The other details are very trivial. There's a tank full of nice guys that could make you deleriously happy.

I empathize with you, but let me ask you; What does God want for you? Would a mate be in His plans? And if it is, then it will come in His timing. Read Psalm 37:4 and Isaiah 40:31. Email me if you like. I will be praying for you.

Don't worry. God will find somebody right for you even if he or she isn't a Christian. Many people are saved when their spouse turns out to be a Christian to.

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 5
2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

3And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

4And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

It is written to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. So pray and ask God for that special someone. Be specific. Remember that you are worth someone special and perfect for you.

Just put God first in your life and thank Him everyday for that perfect person.

Be patient and pray.

Paul tells us to pray without ceasing.

It happens in God's timing and not yours.
