Let it rain...you have to let go of all the pain and situations in the past before you start dating again. It's hard, but you got to do it. Yeah, you got the memories of your ex, but if you want to love again you got to move on. Don't call her. Don't do anything to her. Maybe there's some attachment to her if she was your first love and basically first everything, but you got to let her go. If things were meant to be between you and her it would happen. It goes with the saying "if you love something set it free, if it comes back to you it's meant to be." If you and your ex were meant to be together you will get back together, but on the mean time move on with your life. There are plenty of fishes in the sea. Really and don't shut out on some girl because she looks too much of your ex or because you have an idea of what you want don't shut out on girls that don't met your qualities. You are just missing out and not giving this girl a fair chance if you are comparing her already. When you know you are ready to date is when you don't even think about your ex anymore or how much you loved her. I know it's cliche, but yeah, just move on and the best way to move on its well, to envelope that person and then send it away. As in get all that feeling in your system then either write, cry, or whatever guys do out and then send it away. Throw away all those memories or hide it away. Anyway, a new love will come into your life when you least expect it to. Good luck and hope I helped.

That means you are not over your ex. I dont think its fair for the new girl she has no chance.

well you don't know that until you give someone else a chance if it didn't work out with your ex then there's got to be someone out there better for you. so just maybe wait a while and get to know someone and maybe you'll really like her.

be open minded? communication. learn what kind of person this new girl is. maybe she can be loved as much as ur ex

Dude stop feeling sorry for your self and move on, eventually you will find some one better and then you will think she is the best thing since slice bread.
