I love this man very much but do you think that i will seem to desperate when i do. I think that he wants to kiss me but i dont know. Please help

If you two have not kissed in 8 months of dating, I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
He may be the love of your life but maybe you should talk to him to see what he thinks of you. It sounds like he thinks of you as a friend only.
The best thing to do is to discuss it with him. And NO, NO, NO I do not think you are desperate after waiting 8 long months for a KISS! I think you are patient more than anyone else would be and that you could have reasonably expected a kiss after a month or less of dating.

I think that kissing is not a problem at all if you've been dating for 8 months.The fact that either of you has been able to not do it for all that time is amazing. Hell, I had sex after a week of going out with someone.
