Do any of you people think it's dangerous in L.A.?

Depends on what part of L.A. you're talking about. You're more likely to get into a car accident than get attacked. You just have to use some common sense, like you would in any big city.

Been in LA for about 10 years now and raising my daughter here.

It really depends on the part of LA you are talking about, wouldn't raise my daughter on Hollywood Blvd or even downtown. But some of the outskirts of LA are really nice.

So, basically agree with everyone else's answers - depends on the part you are talking about.

I love L.A.
My father was born here in 1923. I was born here, my kids were born here. I have lived in many different parts of L.A. never had any problems.
My daughter went to Jr. H.S. and H.S in Watts and Compton -supposedly the toughest parts of L.A. She never had any problems.

All of us love living in L.A., and you will too!

I lived in LA for two years and didn't find it dangerous. In every big city, there are neighborhoods that are less safe and you should take caution.

I miss LA! You can't beat the weather and the wonderful beaches!
