my best friend told me she is preggers, she is only 17, and she says her b/f is no where to be seen as he knows the news. why do some guys do that?

a child without a father is not a good upbringing for any child.he will behave in
is a different way when he is older, as a child needs both parents aorund him when he is growing up.

Because he's freaked out at the idea of becoming a father at the age of 17. Keep you legs closed, children. Your best friend who is 'preggers' is going to have a hard life ahead of her. I only hope her child she is having learns from it's mother and the pattern doesn't repeat it's self.

Guys run and hide to avoid 18 years of financial obligation. But I hope your best friend at least knows where the father of her child works, so she can go to court and garnish his wages for child support. But be prepared for a legal fight, and let's hope DNA testing proves he's the real dad because you know he'll say it's someone else, when they finally turn over the right rock and he's found. He's probably afraid of the responsibility that comes with raising a child. Some guys just like the having sex part of the relationship and as soon as the girl says I'm pregnant, they disappear.

Sweetheart, If a woman gets unintentionally pregnant, She needs to be honest to herself and ask the question Why did I do this or I know he is the only guy who really Care's about me. But I should be honest and tell him that we should take a DNA test. And let him know how many other guy's are in line for the test.

he obviously doesn't love her.. he was just looking for sex, and now he's in trouble. he may think he can run and hide, but encourage your friend to chase him down for child support.. he's 50% responsible for the pregnancy so he may legally be required to make meaningful contributions to the child whether he wants to or not.
guess this is a sad lesson that your friend has learned about teenage dating, and about the risks of having sex..
whatever happens, please be the best friend you possibly can to her.. she's gonna need as much love and emotional support as she can get..

because they think that once they have had sex with u that if you r pregent they dont have to take care of it so they run off like it is all good because they say they are not ready 4 kids but they still want to have sex with u but it is stupid 2 me how boys act that way and if they dont run off they will say that anit my baby you are a hoe and i heard that it was such and such baby to make you feel real bad and it is rediclious to me just take care of the baby and deal with it.

Cuz they are guys. I know a 14 year old who got pregnant. The dad actually didn't run away. He ignore her threats, pleas, and scolding, and continued to want and succeeded to f'uck her.
