My boyfriend was really shy when I first met him, but I saw it as a challenge to get to know him and hey, it was the best decision I ever made.
Best thing is to sit back and not worry about it, one day a girl will come along and notice you. Not every girl likes a guy that strives to be centre of attention, just be nice to them, hold a conversation and BE YOURSELF! Just play it cool, and you never know, some girls even go for the strong silent type lol .

Good luck xx

Start of by just being a friend and take it from there. Girls are no different to guys. The problem is facing up to the feeling you have. There is nothing wrong in wanting to shag every women you see. Its perfectly natural. Once you get over that embarrassing fact it becomes a lot easier. We've all been there brother. Believe you me, its gets easier with age and experience. You've got to start somewhere so start small and then start raising the standard. Just don't give your heart away to the first last who shows you a bit of attention. Saying that I still can't stop thinking about my first love twenty years later. The only way to learn is to make mistakes. You will learn more from your mistakes than your successes so the sooner you get started on that learning curve the better. Life is too short for regrets and God created women to be worshipped by men. Amen!

You gotta have a healthy disrespect for all the females! Then no nervousness!

If you cannot achieve that find a hobby or interest or sport that girls do and that you can also do - then you'll have something to talk about. Then you won't feel under pressure to chat them up. Just talk about the common interest. That way you will establish a rapport with someone that you like and before you know it - tonsil tennis!!!

everyone usually gets somewhat nervous around the opposite sex. If I get like that it usually means the guy is wicked hot and that I would do him. To get rid of the nervousness I just look around and see that there is plenty to choose from and I really have nothing to lose. Beer is also a good thing but not highly recommended for starting a relationship.

Shy men are sooooo attractive! Don't think you need to change a bit!
My husband was very shy when we first met but he overcame it (obviously) and asked me out that night. He said he knew we were right for one another because he was able to relax around me within minutes of meeting me.
I say all this to let you know that you'll meet people who relax you enough to overcome your shyness
There is a clinical diagnosis for social anxiety that you might want to speak to your physician about if it's a huge problem.
Anyway, sorry to ramble. Good luck!

I know it's easy to say but try and relax. If a girl likes you then she is probally just as nervous so the two of you are probally like a pair of wobbling jellies. Just breathe deep and think of something relaxing when your next around someone you like.

You have to do your research and find common ground for you to talk about. be it a movie, a store in the mall ,or have a real good help me question for them , can you tell me where I might buy a book, movie, coat, gift for my mom, people love to help others so you can get good conversations going, and as repayment , possibly a coke or coffee at a local coffee house for all their help. just learn to work it

I was in my teens but after that I had no problems so you will grow out of it at some stage. The more girls you talk to the more confident you will become and the easier it will be for you.

If you really don't feel you could approach someone you like, then maybe you should talk to someone who may be able to get you over the fear. Just think, if you talk to her then she might really like you and you might hit it off! Even if it goes pear-shape, it's not the worst thing that can happen to you in your life time!

please listen to me..
above all, BE YOURSELF...do not try acting like anyone..do not raise or lower your voice, talk completely normal..do not walk any different than you do now...do everything just like you were walking in your house or walking into church, be yourself...now that's said..the rest is kind of easy,...but i sure hope your a nice guy, because I am going to say for you to smile a little more, walk like you are confident in yourself..and before you know it, you will be more confident in yourself...and you will not be acting ..because you will be more confident.
try to just make believe the girl your talking to has know you forever..girls you know forever do you get afraid to talk to them..most likely not..do the same things..be kind, gentle, and make sure you have showered, and smile...
good luck
it will all fall into place so easily...

smile
