You don't.
Let time take it's course and don't throw yourself out on a mat like that. (I had four girls do that when I was a sophmore all the way to being a senior.) Drove me nuts and I made sure to stay away from them.
Maybe I made a mistake, maybe not. But it did come off as rude and I avoided them at all cost.
I saw other gals fall for other guys and tell the guy, "Hey, I like you" type stuff all the time and all I saw were a lot of break-ups that went to someone else and none of them ever lasted once they made the switch. Decent guys wouldn't drop a girl just to date someone else, but players and soon to be losers sure would.
Which pretty much sorts out the riff-raff in most guys.
Instead just enjoy things you like doing and don't go out of your way to try winning him over.
If he dumps the other girl and he's interested in you, then so be it. Until then, just make the best of it.

YOU DON'T TELL A GUY YOU LIKE HIM WHEN HE'S ALREADY TAKEN...THAT'S A BIG BIG BIG NO NO!!! You don't want to be the cause of their breakup...if they breakup. Do you want to live a stressful life having to deal with his girl-friend? No...then leave them alone. Only tell a guy who's available=not taken that you like him. Leave the taken guys alone. Let him try and see if he can last with his girl...if he doesn't last with her, then you can make that move. Don't get crazy ideas on causing them to break up because that's evil. What goes around comes around. So be patient. Or find somebody else you can like. There are other guys out there...you just need to be at the right place and at the right time to find him and make your move.

I have the same problem but it makes it harder that he has told me he likes me too but he won't cheat on her and I wouldn't let him anyway. . . I don't think I would act on those feelings until they break up unless you think that you think you should start all that drama because you know it would cause a lot of it well if she found out. ..Don't lead him on when he has a girl because you might gett him but think about it do you really wanna be with a guy who left his girl for you because the next girl who comes along he might leave you for her so think about it before you act

You don't. You keep your feelings to yourself. If there relationship doesn't work out, then maybe you can broach the subject after a reasonable amount of time has passed.
Would you want someone having this conversation with your boyfriend? Don't think so..........

Unless the guy you like is in a non-committed relationship, or it is going badly, than I think it would be better if you kept your feelings to yourself for now.

Hey, I have to say how do you know if you like that person,...well he is always on your mind, when you see him, you want to go up to him and tell him, or you feel funny in your tummy...depending where you are seeing this person..(work)...(party)...school?...because most likely you will see him with someone, or just ask someone that knows him...there is always a way...bye

You don't. If he has a girlfriend, he is hands off. (How would you feel if YOU were the girlfriend and some other girl was after him?) If he ever ends his current relationship, he's fair game.
