YES,l believe God answers and listens to prayer, even when a person is doing something deliberately knowing that is wrong. The reason why some people's prayer are not answered is because first they don't believe in them self's, and they don't have faith.when you ask God 4 anything, you have to believe in what u have asked 4 and have faith that you will receive an answer.thought answers may not come immediately but that does not mean that u should give up.God heal all kinds of sickness, disease ,he is a great healer till today.God is not a man that promises and fails,God sees us ,and hear. All he needs from us is faith ,thanksgiving.patients, praises and u will see what he will do 4 u.even if something was done deliberately knowing that it was wrong, all u do is ask for forgiveness and promise not to do it again.one other reason why some people prayers are not answered is because they were not open minded, thinking they could play games with God which is not so.l absolutely believe that God answers prayers no matter were u are from or what type of sin as been committed .all God needs from you is FAITH,OPEN MIND,HONESTY,CONFESS YOUR SINS NO MATTER HOW BAD IT IS.MY GOD IS WILLING TO FORGIVE,GUIDE,AND ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS .JUST DO THESE AND I PROMISE U THAT THERE WILL BE GREAT CHANGES.AND ALSO BELIEVE THAT YOUR PRAYERS WILL BE ANSWERED.GOD BLESS YOU.

he's not listening to your prayers because of the fact 'god' would not exist. Why might he 'answer' your 'prayers' with reference to the matters of the Egyptian training equipment whilst ignoring the plight of ravenous toddlers. do no longer waste a while chatting inclusive of your imaginary chum. Get off your knees and write to the Egyptian embassy on your united states of america. Do you pray to the comparable god. be careful because of the fact he's somewhat jealous and additionally you ought to have 'no different gods yet me'

Sometimes, but He has definitely not promised to. There is even a proverb that says even the prayers of the wicked are an abomination to God. That's not saying the wicked should not pray. It just means that the fact that they pray does not make them a bit better in God's sight.
However as to the question of healing: You can be doing "everything right" and that still does not mean God will grant your request. Paul prayed three times to be delivered from a "thorn in the flesh". God showed him he wanted him to learn to be strong in God in the middle of his weakness.

No! The Book says, "If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear me." It says, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." A demon said to Simon the Magician, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?" And then he tore the guy up.

On the other hand, a sincere cry for help is always heard. "If I go to the deep, Thou art there." "For I am persuded that ... [nothing] shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus."

No I don't believe that God would listen to those prayers. If a person never really paid attention to God I don't think he pays attention to their prayers unless they have a true change of hart and seriously accept him. If a Christian that has accepted God as savior stumbles and has problems he will listen.

God chooses, I believe God does because 1 Peter 5 (Isaiah somewhere) BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED, (no strings)

We just have to fight for our promise, fight doubt. Claim God's word until we get it (for example I had a very severe phobia to snakes and I quoted 2 Timothy 1:7 for over a month when I was in phobic situations or even just when I remembered that I am weak - I know can at least watch them on T.V) God is blessing me.

With the dilerberately wrong part, the illness could be a consequence, I would always recommend everyone, everyday get their life right with God as He wants to bless us and the things we do can prevent Him blessing us.

I believe God listens, God acts when we let Him. (Oh unforgiveness blocks our prayers - Mark 11:25)

Press in to God ask Him, get it right with God, forgive, have faith, Hebrew 11:6 without faith its impossible to please God.

God is always listening friend. Isaiah 49:15-16 says "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I NOT forget you! Behold, I have graven you upon the palms of my hands."

Healing takes faith, "and faith comes from hearing, and hearing from the Word of God." Romans 10:17

To know the Word is to know Christ, the incarnate Word.
John 1:14.

a god is powerless. Yahweh is the only true sourec of power, so why would you pray to a god? Of course god can't hear you.

Isayah1:15 When you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you. Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

Isayah 59:1-2, 7-8—
1 Behold, Yahweh's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
2 But your own iniquities have separated you from your Father; and your own sins have caused Him to hide His face from you, so He will not listen.
7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
8 They do not know the way of peace, and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made themselves crooked paths; whoever walks on them will not know peace.

John 9:31 Now we know that Yahweh heareth not sinners: but if any man reverences Yahweh, and doeth his will (Keep his Laws), him he heareth.

Great points cbooth, however you still are calling Yahweh a god. He is not a god.

I think that god listens to everyones prayes, and answers them too, but he does not make them come true. That is a problem with people, they think that god is some kind of Genie, that if you ask for money or a new car it will come true. I think that god does find a way to answer yours prayes though. Sometimes it might be though yourself, he will give you the power to listen to yourself and your heart, it is up to you if you listen. God does not controle people, he gave us free will. Thats why we cant alwasy wai for god to give us what we need, we have to take it in our own hands, and know that god will watch over us.

God listens and answers everyone's prayers. Sometimes you just don't get the answer you want.
