They aren't ugly per se...perhaps spawn of satan though. They're just conceited creatures who demand everything of everyone else but nothing of themselves, which is why they are associated with women.

Why would you say that? I have a cat and she's certainly not evil. If you hate cats what are you doing on a cat thread? There are those of us who love cats, and no they're not ugly and neither are they evil. I don't know where you get your information from..cats are not the spawn of Satan nor do they do any real harm to most people. You must be really cold-hearted to think the way you do. If this is your idea of a joke...it's sick.
BTW floyd...you cannot get that type of disease from a cat. Some people on here just don't get that cats are NOT bad creatures. Jeez, why all the hatred? And why post here if you hate cats? Seems to me like it's a waste of time.
NO, cats are not like dogs. But that does NOT mean that they're stupid or evil..they are SEMI-INDEPENDENT which is why they sometimes don't come when they're called...if you want a pet that you can order around..get a dog. I like cats, and always will. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Cats are majestic hunters who can never be fully domesticated. I think people like you don't like cats coz they are smart and independent. You probably want a pet that will follow you around all day and do everything you teach it to do. I like dogs and I think they can be very useful buts cats are different. They have a mind of their own. Cats are a lot more selective in who they like or choose to be affectionate towards. You probably met a cat who didn't like you and just couldn't stand it, right?

Cats can carry a virus that sometimes infects humans and causes mental problems, the most destructive being the person feels excessively guilty for no rational reason. This can, in the extreme, lead to suicide. Pet cats at your own risk.

Sometimes people don't like cats because they are allergic to them or maybe they are so small that you accidentally step on them and slip and fall and break something. :)

Beacuse they're not dogs. Because they have to have liter boxes for to clean up. I hate that!
