No. No metal is safe in a microwave oven. And that includes foil. In fact, one of my cousins put a plate in a microwave oven that had gold leaf paint on it and that caused sparks to fly around.

NO! I've actually done a science project on this. When i experimented nothing happened, but if something does, then it can be really bad. Either whatever your cooking can set fire or you will just break your microwave due to the microwaves bouncing back at the emitter

no cause the heat of the radiation of the microwave will catch the foil on fire.

if you're definately using the convection feature it should be ok.but if you blow up the oven and have a fire you can't come and stay with me.
