I prefer turkey, and that's just our tradition at my Mom's house. Then we have ham for Christmas.
I have a cousin that's allergic to turkey, so my aunt cooks both turkey and ham for her Thanksgiving.

I love turkey for Thanksgiving because it is like the symbol for it. I love ham at Christmas time though.

Well, Turkey really isn't on my taste bud side. I love ham. My mom buys the cold cooked ham the mostly sell. She marinates it in some spices, BUT the part that's the HIT OS ALL TIMES is when she gets the ham and marinates it in pineapple juice, and pineapple Slices. She then put the ham in the oven for about 30 to 40 minutes. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!HOW SWEET AND DELICOUS IT TURNS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLus, I alose love the side dishes she makes!!! Mashed Potatoes! STUFFING IS MY #1 FAVOTRITE!!!!Gravy, and MUCH MORE!!!!

Ham, because I love how salty it is! Plus, unless the turkey has been cooked by somebody who knows what they're doing, it's usually very dry.
