Having a regular sleep pattern. Go to bed approximately the same time every night & get up approximately the same time every day. Avoid caffeine after the morning. Do not exercsie w/ in a few hours before bed. Do something sedating or boring before bed-like reading a textbook.
Sometimes eating a carbohydrate snack-like a bowel of cereal before bed helps.
Good luck.

Generally you sleep better if you are relaxed when you are ready to go to bed. Consuming alcohol or eating late can affect your sleep patterns and how well you sleep. If you eat early, and try and not think about other things that are going on in your life you are more likely to get a better nights sleep. You may also want to try to get a relaxing CD that can help your mind relax and make you feel comfortable so that you get to sleep easier.
