Yeah, I'm sure God respects human freedom. He would never leave a place where we don't want Him to, and He would always leave a place where we wanted Him to. He has the ability to be everywhere, but also has the ability to be in certain places only, and not everywhere.

He is not gone, He is omnipresent, but without words it is void, Matt 4:1-11 Shows the importance of scripture quoting v11 says the devil left and angels attended we cannot give God resources to change things if we don't say his things (go with me here) John 1:1 The word was with God... The word was God.
Another verse says God's word doesn't return void...
See you need words, you need prayer, your need the Bible spoken for God to act, He is a gentleman He is there and I would rather correctly assume he is heartbroken over the situation.
God is omnipresent, but he is a gentleman and will not act if we don't ask. You can pray and change that situation, but whilst people don't want God in their "life" in their schools, carnality will rule, and cause the choas that always follows.

Personally I think it's silly. The public schools I was at are no different today, they are not any more or less religiously open or closed. And really the only thing that can change the atmosphere of a school is the disposition of the current generation attending.

When people say they kicked God out of schools, they don't mean the physical being of God. They mean they got rid of some tradition(s) in schools that mentioned God or had something to do with God.

I've received that same email with that standard line. I've also received numerous emails maintaining that christians and christmas are being persecuted. And how people can't pray in school. And no matter how man times I try to correct people's misinterpretations, they NEVER want to hear it because they WANT the victim/group-persecution dynamic because it gives people the specialness they're looking for (and allows them to promote their agenda under the delusion that their rights are being violated). I presented the facts about we can pray ALL we want in public school and in the government and anywhere. I try to show them how people completely misunderstand the fact that no REPRESENTATIVE of the school or state can ENDORSE a practice by having it as part of the school's normal program. I tell them that BECAUSE of separation of church and state, people HAVE the right to practice their religion in school and anywhere. I tell them that my nephew says his prayers openly in his public school because of the fact that the school doesn't endorse any particular practice that would inhibit his right. I try and try and try and people WANT their misperceptions because it creates a mythology where they can be crusaders in a fight for God. But they NEVER EVER understand. NEVER.

God can only be where people will love and embrace him. Rather god is real or not does not matter, because if you dont belive in him in your heart, then he has no effect over you. I think it is a wonderful thing to be able to feel god in your heart, and I feel sorry for people who dont.
At the same time, I respect the beleifs of those who dont. That is their choice. I dont want anyone changing me, so I dont tyr to change anyone. In a school, people has power over one another, and people will abuse that power. God existin peoples heart, and he will and should stay there. No rule can change that.

He wasn't kicked out. So many people try to say that you can't pray in school, and that's not true.
You can't require students to pray, and you can't have the teachers or staff lead a prayer for everyone.
Individuals and volunteer groups of students can pray all they want to so long as they don't disrupt the educational experience.

Yes we did and yes He does. God created man and gave him the power of choice. If God was as disrespectful to man as we are to each other and Him we would not have a very big God. It is our choice to turn to God or to turn away from God. He has done His part in creating a path for us to know Him and have a personal relationship with Him. The rest is up to us. He is always there willing, waiting and ready to meet you. He is never to busy for us and we never have to make an appointment. God will never force himself on you. It is always your choice to turn to Him. Just as we have the choice to turn away from Him.
Have you ever been in a position to be of real help to someone and they weren't interested in recieving your help? You weren't trying to control them or manipulate, just able to be of help in whatever they were trying to do. Because they didn't accept your help they messed up whatever it was that you could have helped them with. This is how God treats us. He loves us enough to always be there for us when we ask and to let us fall on our own when we don't want His help. This doesn't mean we fall every time without His help although our odds of success greatly improve when He does.

Do you think you can kick, move, shove, convince God to do anything He wasn't set to do? It is all part of the downfall of man. If people saw 50 years ago, what we can see on over the air broadcasts, the churches would be filled with cries and prayers....

he is leaving the choice to us. he gave us free will and he seeing how we choose of it. thats probably why there is so much violence because those poor kids have no one to turn to so they shoot other kids or themselves. sometimes i wish i could go to the Supreme Court and tell them to keep God in schools. they frown on us if we pray or even mention anything about him. but yet they still allow other things about how the earth started. i personally believe that if they can teach that cant they teach God?
