OMG! My mother is always asking me questions and is all in my business, she asks my daughter stuff instead of asking me because she knows my daughter will tell her the truth, the point is I'm 25 years old and she treats me like I'm 15. She opens my mail, she tells me how to raise my daughter and when i tell her that I will move out she gets all butt hurt! The best thing I do is just avoid her...... keep conversations short. If I could move out and could afford it I would until then I just avoid her.

this sounds like a power struggle, and you mom does not look at you as any thing but a child so may i suggest that you look very closely at the way you behave, be honest with your self. are you being respectful, responsible, caring, thoughtful,.these are all what you would expect an adult to be. A child on the other hand will have temper tantrums, I need, Want why can't I.as it is all about them. So again look at you behaviour and know what your mom is dealing with

i'm exactly were you are only i have one more year
well i know it's hard and eveything you do always seems to be wrong
make sure you do tell her stait forward no bullshit how she makes you feel when she does that
if you already have find things to do to keep you busy get a job (if your 16)
join sports
do community survice
stay out of the house as much as you can!!!!!!!!!!!
and when you can't hold your head high and don't take any of it to heart
thats how i made it through
(oh and i have found that when you have people at your house it tends to be better)

My sentiments exactly! My mother gets on my nerves all the time. We've slipped into this cycle of war and peace (2 weeks of peace followed by another two weeks of war).
I'm trying my best not to aggravate the situation because when her time is up, I'll be left on my own to resolve these unresolved issues, not her!
