Banana pudding:

ripe bananas (not overripe)

1 box Vanilla wafers

1 box vanilla pudding mix

1 tub Cool Whip

Mix the vanilla pudding mix with cold milk (according to directions)
to form pudding consistency.

Fold in whipped topping

Set aside

Prepare bananas ( optional: lemon juice to keep cut bananas from browning)

Arrange wafers and bananas in casserole dish (or container)

Pour filling on top

Arrange with second layer of wafers and bananas

Place in refrigerator and let chill

Unfortunately, the great family recipe's died with Nana Brown... She was so possessive of her prized recipes! She used to make the best cobblers and puddings! I've tried and tried to re create them... evidently the cooking talent died with her too!
