metal non-stick... preferably a pie pan. only other tip i have is to add a lil whipped cream in the center to make it look nice

Pumpkin pie should be in metal non stick bakeware and should be glazed with beaten egg

Non-stick Metal.
Pumpkin pie filling can take forever to harden in the center (often longer than the directions say) Your crust may end up stuck to the glass.

I greatly prefer the glass pie pans. Not exactly sure why. Somehow they seem to stick less and distribute heat more evenly.

Yes... If your pan is black or glass you may have to decrease your baking time or you oven tempreture

I always use a deep dish pyrex pan and fresh pumpkin, roasted and pureed

I would use glass because it cooks easier but it really doesn't matter.
