My daughter is out growing her toys like no tommorrow... is there any place where i can take the toys to to sell them... it's too cold to have a yard sale... not enough room to store them here so if you have any ideas that would be great... I'm a single mom and intend to buy her x-mas gifts with the $$ I get from selling her old toys... they all are in good to great condition and I have bought them myself for her... Just FYI I live in New Hampshire and will travle with in reason to sell her toys.

I sell mine a couple of ways

The first is they have this resale shop called once upon a child and they buy back toys. You don't get a ton of cash, but it is better than nothing. So, check your resale shops.

I also use Ebay. Search for your specific toy to see how much they have sold for, if you have a bunch that don't sell for much, you should combine them into a lot. People seem to pay way more that way. Be careful on your shipping though, don't underestimate!!! The bulk packages can be pricey.

Or, on yahoo they have a group usually based on your city. Here it is called ft. wayne friends. I imagine they have one called new hampshire friends or something along those lines. You can list your toys on there too!!! (note: NOT freecycle, they'll yell at you for selling stuff on there, make sure it is the "friends" group)

You could always try a Trade post paper. I think ours here is called Peddlers Post. I am sure you would have something along those lines.
There are lots of options, just price them right!!! HOpe that helped!

Here's what I do with my outgrown baby/kids toys:

1. I post on craigslist.org - it's free and easy. I'll also post it on some local Yahoo!groups that are in my area. You might want to check out http://groups.yahoo.com and search for any "cheapcycle" or "yardsale" groups in your area.

2. If it doesn't go in a few days then I post it on eBay. I've had alot of experience with eBay. If you don't then do some reading on their website and browse listings. You'll be able to see pretty easily which listings appeal to you and which don't - this will help you make sure that your listings are informative and attractive to potential buyers.

3. Have you tried Kid to Kid? I don't know if there's one in your area but go to www.kidtokid.com They pay cash for your toys and clothes. Plus, they'll give you 20% more if you take store credit instead. It's a really quick way to get $$ quickly.

Hope this helps!

Learn ebay. I got rid of all my son's old clothes, toys, and also some of my old clothes, shoes, and electronics. And you make SO MUCH more than selling them to a shop or at a sale. It's worth the time to learn it, it's so fun and the cash is great.

Depending on where you live, there maybe like a children's used shop. I know where I live in Ohio they have stores called Once upon a child and they take clothes and toys. Look in your yellow pages. Im sure ther is something similar to what I am talking about.

Wow. I'm sure you'll get 1,000 answers like this--but Ebay!

Ebay.com

If you have a digital camera that will make it easier to sell thee items. It's an auction and you set up the length of time for the auction. Once it's over you will collect th money and mail the winning bidder their merchandise. (The buyer pays the shipping!)

You can even set it up to get the money online.

It does take some time to manage the auctions, though.

Good luck!

Do you have a ONce upon a Child? It is a store that buys kids clothes, toys and accessories. Another way is to advertise in your local paper what you have and sell them that way. That would make more then once upon a child.

I would try craigslist. I do not know if you are familiar with it.... you pick the area you live in and then post what you have. People email you (you are assigned a number and they email that, then it is forwarded to your inbox so your personal email isn't out for everyone to see). Then, you work out a price and pickup. I have had lots of success with it.... if I am going to pick something up though, I take hubby with me, just in case. You could always try ebay too.

I go to a place called rock a bye baby and they sell used children's clothing, you might not get money back for clothes just store credit, but you do get cash back for toys. Look in your yellow pages under children's clothing. You should be able to sell them quick, another way is www.ebay.com or www.swapthing.com

try ebay.com. You can buy and sell anything on there. Sell them as lots (meaning a couple in each sale). It's simple to use.
