...and people make excuses, blame it on the Devil, Adam and Eve, pollution etc... He made Lucifer knowing what would happen. He put a friggin tree in the garden knowing what would happen. His omniscience is the key to indicting him for every ounce of evil that ever happened, but people glaze it over in their own minds.

Is there anything God could do that would make you question his goodness? The way it is now, Christians wouldn't know the Devil from God by their works.

We are all free moral agents, when you break the Laws you cause curses to come upon your own head. Yahweh loved us enough to give us his Laws of prevention, but mankind has chosen to cast them behind him and make every known excuse not to keep them. Don't blame Yahweh, look at the man in the mirror or the person in your genealogy who willing and dilberatly chose disobey Yahweh.

Read.......

Deuteronomy 30: 10 if you shall obey the voice of Yahweh your Father, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law; if you turn to Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul.

11 For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not too hard for you, neither is it far off.

12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, "Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it to us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?"

13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, "Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?"

14 But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it.

15 Behold, I have set before you this day life and righteousness, and death and evil;

16 in that I command you this day to love Yahweh your Father, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your Father may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.

17 But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship gods, and serve them;

18 I denounce to you this day, that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land, where you pass over the Jordan to go in to possess it.

19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your seed;

20 to love Yahweh your Father, to obey his voice, and to cleave to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days; that you may dwell in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Yaaqob to give them.

'His omniscience is the key to indicting him for every ounce of evil that ever happened,'

It is also the very thing that in a sense proves he cannot exist. If God truly is all knowing and Omnipotent, then he would know everything. Including what was going to happen, if this were the case then all time is predecided and none of us have free-will. And I'm pretty sure it says somewhere in that overly large, overly used book of his that he made us with free will.

I think there is some form of God, but he is not the God definded by all the mainstream religions, and I don't have the time or energy to look into the weird cult type ones...Bascially, God's one huge freaking paradox, I mean he's the embodyment of an oxymoron...What does that tell you?

The evil that happens in the world - including the friggin tree in the garden you talk about - is because God gave us free will to choose Him or deny Him. The results of the decision Eve made in the garden should be a very CLEAR indicator to us what happens when we decide to do what we KNOW we are not supposed to do. Adam & Eve were very clearly WARNED about their certain destruction should they choose to give up their faith and disobey God. We live in an evil society because of that first decision to disobey God. We are also clearly warned in the Bible - God's instruction book for our lives - we choose to live for Him or we choose not to either by open decision or default. There is no gray area - it's either evil or good.

Look at Job in the Bible. It says very clearly that Satan asked permission from God to test His most faithful servant Job. God allowed Satan to do everything but take his life. Through it all Job's faith never wavered and he was given back all he had lost plus more.

Atheists like to call us robots and say we can't make our own decisions. The truth is it's BECAUSE OF our free will and the decisions that we make and that were made in the past that causes evil to run rampant today.

We are not in the position to question God and why He does what He does or allows what He allows to happen to people around us. We may never know the answers here on earth but it will be made clear to us in heaven.

Innocent ones that are lost cannot be blamed on God and where do you get off deciding that there lives are worthless gone taken perhaps God has a better purpose for them.
He did not create scenarios for evil to take over. As far as disease and pestilence this is our own destruction from our own creation of problems to the environment.
Don't tell me I wouldn't know the Devil from Gods works.
It is you that's blind and cannot see that the devil works through your lies trying to make a mockery of the truth.

But listen closely waste all the words you want but its not going to deter a single person that believes in God.

So You're upset because God gave people the freedom to choose?

Would you prefer that he just tell you what to do and not give you any choice in the matter?

It'd be a great life! No sickness, pain, death -- or any of the behaviors that lead to those.....

What good is "free will" if he already knows what is going to happen? Apparently he doesn't want anyone to go to hell, yet, in x-ianity, if someone rejects him, they do. But at the same time he already knew that person would end up in hell before they were born, so why even bother? Seems to me like people follow the bible blindly, and don't ask enough questions.

If you don't believe in the Bible, get out of reaction to it. Meet some people who aren't bible based at all and who can support your independent thinking rather than waste your time with people who will never really hear what you are saying (just a thought).

i dont think ur observations call 4 a shower of hatred in God's direction; i think it could equally mean we need to rethink the way we perceive God.

a lot of the bible writings were attempts at answering questions: they were not wrong but not an exact image of the truth. ur observations could instead indicate which portions are inaccurate.

Peace an Love :-)

We do not question GOD he is on a different level of wisdom then we are. we can not begin to understand. But more simply, He created the whole sha-bang so it's His ballgame.
