Don't brake up with him! Tell him how you feel about spending more time with him and see what he says and how he feels.

Honesty is the best policy! Before you cut him loose you need to ask him up front how he feels about you. You need to ask him why he's in the relationship in the first place. DON'T let him baby talk you and try to pull his smooth moves.
Relationships are like the Tango. It takes two to tango. In order for the dance to be romantic and sensual both partners need to have full commitment to it. If not the dance loses it sensuality and it comes across as not romantic. If he's not willing to put in the same amount of effort as you then he needs to go. You deserve a man that will appreciate you for all that you are and if this guy doesn't see it then girl you need to move on. Don't lower you expectations for him.
I hope this gave you some empowerment and I really do hope that things work out in your favor! :)

If you really likes him, how can you let him go? If I am you, I will have a nice talk to him and tell him what I want. Communication is important in relationship. If you just let it end like that, you might regret because you didn't even try to make it work. Relationship needs time and effort. If you both willing to work it out, you will live in a happiness.

like the opposite happened to me so i dont have any good advice except be honest before you end it- say something like I have really enjoyed the last 3 months and am really into you-then see what he says- he might just really be busy with work or something and it has only been 3 months...if he wants it to end then he should take the hint that he either needs to reassure you that he wants you or he will end it. best of luck!

Don't ever stay in a relationship like this. He should want to be with you, any guy who cares will make time for you. Don't make excuses when you breakup. Just tell him that you can not be in a relationship with someone unless they are willing to make time for you, and that you need some thing that he is unwilling to give you.

ask yourself if you love the idea of being in love with someone or if you love him!
you sound like someone who loves love. there's plenty out there.
do not chase love. let it find you.
as far as treating you wonderful, i am sure no one is going to insult you when you are with them. you are smart enough not to maintain such company! but be smart enough to know when to say "enough...no!"

Tell him that you'd like to spend more time with him. If he doesn't want to, or if he says he wants to but doesn't end up spending more time with you, then tell him you'll break up with him.

well, theres no easy way. if he likes you more than you like him, you have to get out of it. its not fair to play with someones emotions. how would you feel if it were your feelings being played with-you wouldnt like it at all.
