What are your favorite kind of birds???? and why do you like them??

I like any kind of bird, because my family has a heritge of bird watching, I use to do that all the time with my grandfather when i was littler!!!

I'm a Macawaholic. Through and through. I have two, a Greenwing baby girl named Katie, she's 14 weeks and not even home yet. She's still at the nursery. And then I have Rio, an almost 5 year old Military Macaw.
As far as why? I don't know. They're big, you can play with them, they are SO incredibly intelligent. I love them. You can do so much with them, and their whole lives depend on the trust that you build with them. They are just amazing.
Rio, he calls my son, Alex like he's in trouble. He'll say "Alllllleeeeex! Get DOWN here! NOW!" It's hillarious. And he heard me singing that "Everyday I'm hustlin'" song..and the next day I was grilling on the back porch, and he's all "Every day I'm hustlin', every day I'm hustlin'".
Those birds are every bit as much family as my kids are. We love them so much!

I love budgies, I have three and they're such beautiful amazing little birds. They have such amazing personalities and they do teh cutest things. The noise they make is also great, it really makes a place seem alive to have a few budgies talking to each other (or themselves while they sleep!) I also love cockateils and just parrots in general, although I'm not too keen on keeping them as pets. I prefer to see them in the wild! Finches are so cute! Rosellas and Cockatoos are beautiful and I get to watch them in their natural habitat as they live around my house. They are amazing fliers and they're really smart birds. I also love magpies, they make such beautiful sounds :) I just love birds in general, beautiful, amazing animals!

My favorite birds are hummingbirds. When the babies hatch in the spring, I can get them to sit on my fingers when they're drinking out of the bird feeder, it's sooo cute and lots of fun. :)

Birds of prey. We have had a mated pair of falcons in one of our giant trees on our property for years, and they are just amazing. I love to watch prey birds hunt and drift on the wind. They are just gorgeous.

The osprey is my favorite bird, it is breathtaking to watch them dive for their fish, to teach the little ones to fly and see them protect their young while in the nest.

i love cockatiels n African greys :) u guys are so lucky to be able to see these birds in the wild, here in the good old UK were lucky to see anything more than a pidgin, sparrow, dove or magpie!

Definitely hummingbirds. Everything about them... from their size to the speed of their wings is fascinating.

I like Hummingbirds. They are so tiny & colorful. I put out hummingbird feeders for them. Last year they made nests in the tree in our front yard.

ALL of them...but I really love song birds...warblers, towhees, sparrows, wrens, etc. I also really love hummingbirds! They are so colorful and feisty!
