I don't think "god" is even a title, it's more of a label.

Yeshua is the name of Jesus not God. The TRUE name of God has been lost in the centuries since it was not written by the ancient scribes.
Yes, God is a title, as is Lord, King, Adoni, Abba (Father) and many of the other ways we refer to Him.
Before you start slamming a whole group of people for not knowing what they are talking about I would suggest YOU do a little more research too.

"God", "Lord", even "Allah" (literally "the [one] God") are all clearly NOT personal names, while the Hebrew Tetragrammaton clearly *IS* a personal name for Almighty God.
It's not exactly wrong to call the Almighty by the impersonal "God" or "Lord", just as it's not wrong to call one's offspring "Baby" or "Child". Faithful men of the Holy Scriptures used both "God" and a form of "Jehovah" when they referred to and addressed the Almighty. However, the term "Allah" seems intended specifically to reject Judeo-Christian spiritual heritage.
If we want a familiar and close relationship, it makes sense to use the personal name of someone we love. The Scriptures encourage us to use God's personal name.
The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) does seem to accurately pronounce the divine name. Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.
The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”, especially if you speak Hebrew. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".
(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth
(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

Yea and funny thing is the Christianity is the only religion that worships a no named god. They can't say the worship Jehovah or they would then be called Jehovah's witness. Certainly not Yahweh, then they would have to go the his house where he commands his children to go and KEEP THE LAWS OF YAHWEH. So what is the name of the christian god?
THERE IS NONE!
everything is a Mystery in the christian worship.
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Behold your god.........
Amen
(Amon, Amun, Ammon, Amoun)
Amen's name means "The Hidden One." Amen was the patron deity of the city of Thebes from earliest times, and was viewed (along with his consort Amenet) as a primordial creation-deity by the priests of Hermopolis. His sacred animals were the goose and the ram.
Up to the Middle Kingdom Amen was merely a local god in Thebes; but when the Thebans had established their sovereignty in Egypt, Amen became a prominent deity, and by Dynasty XVIII was termed the King of the Gods. His famous temple, Karnak, is the largest religious structure ever built by man. According to Budge, Amen by Dynasty XIX-XX was thought of as "an invisible creative power which was the source of all life in heaven, and on the earth, and in the great deep, and in the Underworld, and which made itself manifest under the form of Ra." Additionally, Amen appears to have been the protector of any pious devotee in need.
Amen was self-created, according to later traditions; according to the older Theban traditions, Amen was created by Thoth as one of the eight primordial deities of creation (Amen, Amenet, Heq, Heqet, Nun, Naunet, Kau, Kauket).
During the New Kingdom, Amen's consort was Mut, "Mother," who seems to have been the Egyptian equivalent of the "Great Mother" archetype. The two thus formed a pair reminiscent of the God and Goddess of other traditions such as Wicca. Their child was the moon god Khons.
The Name Yahshua is a compound Name. It is a combination of Yahweh's Name in a personal name (YAH: yod-heh) and SHUA (shin-ayin), which means salvation. The Hebrew-English Lexicon of the Old Testament, by Brown, Driver, and Briggs, page 221, tells us that the Name Yahshua means Yahweh is salvation.
The Jewish Encyclopedia, Volume 9, page 153, tells us this about compound names which glorify Yahweh:
A distinctive characteristic of Bible onomatology is the frequency of composite names, which form at times even complete sentences, as in the case of Isaiah's son Shear-jashub (="the remnant shall return").
In the majority of cases these composite names are theophorous, referring to, or actually mentioning...the name of YHWH.
The Interpreter's Dictionary, Volume 3, page 505, tells us:
There is an increasing tendency, especially in the 7th Century b.c. to use compound names which state a fact or express a wish... The most numerous are names compounded with 'YAH'... which number over 150 and are almost entirely personal or family names.

The One True God is unknowable to all mankind.
That is why followers of each among the monotheistic religions keep on claiming that only themselves understand and have exclusive knowledge of the One True God, and wrongfully reject the others. The more we quarrel, the more we become idolaters who worship many gods, as if to add partners to God.
Please reread the Holy Books and look into the matter with a searching eye for the etrnal truth.

I see that really matters a lot to you.
Actually, the name Jesus means "Yahveh saves". Going through the Old Testament texts referring to Yahveh, I find each one says something the New Testament says about Jesus.
So I figure I can address myself to Jesus without any problem.
But you do just whatever you want to. You have my permission! lol
Edit:
By the way, Yeshua is simply the Hebrew pronunciation for Jesus. (this information is free of charge) :)

Jehovah is Jesus Christ Father. God is a title, like prince or king. read ps 83 verse 18 in the king james bible. they are not one and the same. no one has seen Jehovah but they seen Jesus Christ. Jehovah wants us to use his name, when you talk to your friend you use their name and you have a name, so why wouldn't God have a name also.

It may be true that some Christians may not know that, and it's probably safe to say that some non-Christians don't know it. However telling people in a patronizing way isn't going to get anybody to want to see your point of view.
It's never safe to just assume things because it makes you look like an ________________

But since there is only one god, then God is both a title and a name. When there is only one, you can't get Him confused with another.

Why does that even matter? When we pray to Him He knows who we're talking to.
What's the point of this question?
